Professor Galante has dedicate his life to the practice and teaching of the Martial Arts. One of only a few people to be granted a Grand Master Diploma by Grand Master Florendo Visitacion (founder of Vee Arnis Jitsu). Professor Galante received his 10th Degree Black Belt Certification in 1993. Professor Galante also had the opportunity to learn from Dr. Moses Powell founder of Sanuces Ryu Jiu Jitsu. Sister Laurentine Morgan, OSU anointed him in Reiki (hands on healing).
He continues to strive for advancement in the Martial Arts and in overall physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. As such, he went on to attain his Mastership of the Usui Shiki Ryoho form of Reiki in 2010 and his Yoga Certification in 2014.
In addition to continuously working to improve and expand his own skills and knowledge, Professor Galante is dedicated to sharing his knowledge of the Martial Arts with others and started running his own dojo in 1971.
He has instructed over 6,000 students. Several of Professor Galante's high-ranking Black Belts have continued his teachings and systems. Currently, Professor Galante teachers Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Tai Chi, Filipino Arnis and Weapons Training in the Port Jefferson Station area. He holds classes for children, adults and seniors. Each skill is tailored to the needs and level of each individual.
